Ah, to throw of the shackles of languishing in Friends Only fear.
HELLO!
I am a short arsed Irish girl living in London with two kittens and wilting pouch of Golden Virginia.
I maintain a Wordpress blog named, Pole to Polar: The Secret Life of a Manic Depressive which is written a little more artfully than this one. If you're interested in the mental health side of things, toddle off to that place. It's about the day to day experiences of manic depression, living with mood swings and coping with the breathtaking incompetence of the NHS Mental Health Services.
Mental illness aside, I'm a fairly cheerful type of girl. I wear charity shop clothes. I like a cigarette and a drink. I dye my hair as the seasons change. I spend most of my time reading, writing or watching comedy DVDs. I adore the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, but worry not! I have the Britpop bollocks of the Blur, Pulp and Suede to love and I'm also a filthy FMF (Fucking Manics Fan). I love my friends and my family, my cats, boyfriend, comedy, music, books and other such loveliness. I like to dance and sing and run riot. I am honestly a "people person", crap CV lying aside. If anyone asks, I have a degree in, I don't know, being right smart.
I have lived my life quietly for some time now. I have decided that enough is enough. I peer out my venetian blinds and want to go outside and play.
